NEW
Solid State Frequency Converter / Inverter Features small size,
high efficiency and low cost
|
|

BEHLMAN
(Hauppauge, NY) has introduced
the P1351 a new solid state frequency converter
/ inverter that delivers 1350VA of clean, regulated AC power
in a 3 ½" high bench top chassis, that easily converts
to a rack mount unit, for far less cost than competitive models.
|
The
P1351 features a unique circuit which provides
voltage foldback to maintain full rated current into a overload
without clipping the AC output. Power output is a maximum
of 1350 VA with 100% of the rated output available into any
power factor load. The unit provides a continuously adjustable
output voltage of 0 - 135 VRMS or 0 -270 VRMS and a frequency
range of 45 - 500 Hz. Total harmonic distortion is 1%
typical. Input power is 120 VAC, 47 - 440 Hz via an IEC
320 receptacle and North American line cord supplied with the
unit.
|
Output
connection can be made via a front panel Safety sockets as well
as a rear mounted barrier strip. Two digital readouts
are provided, one of true RMS voltage and one of true RMS current
and frequency. The P1351 is available with
remote control of voltage, frequency and output using 0 - 10
VDC, IEEE-488 or RS 232. With dimensions of 3.50"H
x 17"W x 17"D and a weight of 39 pounds the unit is
ideal for local bench top power or rack mounting with the optional
rack mount kit.
